When technical maintenance is required, it often happens that an external party is responsible for this maintenance. These external parties often lack any prior knowledge of your building, site or installations. Using BIMvisible, this prior knowledge is not required. The technician can immediately see the plans without any further training and can immediately get started with the necessities: the repair or maintenance of the installations. The application ensures that everything is immediately evident and all necessary information can be found centrally. Any layman can easily work with the app and when using it, everything becomes immediately clear.

Plans do not have to be explained in detail, technical installations are immediately visible, and thus a lot of time is saved when the specialist arrives on site.

How does BIMvisible work?

Using BIMvisible is simple. First of all, BIM models will be uploaded into the platform. This often involves the use of several models; a structural model and one or more engineering models.

In consultation with the building manager, virtual markers are placed in the model. These virtual markers are QR codes that are placed approximately every 1,000m². The physical markers are hung inside the building in exactly the same place as their virtual counterparts.

If the choice is made to link the Building Management System to it, live data is linked to the BIM elements each time, making them immediately visible when using the app as well.

To use the app, simply scan the physical marker (QR code) hanging in the building. The app locates you based on the location of this marker and will immediately reveal the hidden techniques in their exact location in the building. The user has immediate access to all the added information.
